Generator  - part 2
An original generator top tank was used to form a mould cavity using plaster of paris.
The upper  tank
Top tank and flange was moulded in fiberglass as an assembly.  The piece is shown after preliminary sanding and primer coating.
Hardware for the upper tank included the filler neck and cap ;  various parts used to clamp top and bottom tanks together when fully assembled.
Left: making some of the clamping  hardware from solid brass was a temptation simply too difficult to resist.  Water valve needles were made from solid brass, as well.
